What is E85?
E85 is an alternative fuel that contains up to 85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent petrol. The ethanol component, which can be produced from naturally occurring biological materials, offers consumers a range of benefits. Caltex is selling E85 under the name Bio E-Flex in selected service stations.

Can I fuel my car with E85?
At this stage, very few cars on Australia's roads are capable of running on E85. Vehicles in Holden's VE Series II Commodore range are the first Australian-made cars to run on this fuel.
